As part of our committment to be a 'Resource Church' in equipping the Body of Christ to become effective ministers of the gospel in the power of the Holy Spirit, two new interactive teaching programmes are taking place.
The Discipleship Classes are held periodically on Friday evenings and take place in the School Room commencing at 19.45 and finish at 21.00.
A true disciple is someone who has repented of their sins and believed on the Lord Jesus Christ. As we then follow Jesus and His teachings we are being changed from glory to glory. It follows that each day we should be reflecting more of the glory of God. This is growth! these sessions are designed for all believers, especially new converts, who want a better understanding of the Christian faith, and also an opportunity to explore the beliefs of the Crawley New Life Church.
Examples of the topics being covered are: 'How do we enter the Kingdom', The Call of the Cross', 'The Secret of Spiritual Power'.
The 'School of Theology' is designed for all leaders, potential leaders and anyone who wishes to dig deeper into God's Word from a Pentecostal perspective. These sessions will assist us in our knowledge of the Scriptures; in communicating the gospel message and equipping us for ministry.
The School of Theology is held on Saturday morning from 10.00 to 12 noon with a break for refreshments. These classes are open to all Christians. The proposed dates for 2009 are March 21st; June 6th; September 12th; November 28th.
Course notes are provided for all who attend the studies.
